Girotondo is open from 8:30am to 5:30pm five days a week, year-round.

We mostly follow the NYC Dept. of Education calendar, with a few exceptions, and take all federal holidays. For the school year 2024-2025, we are closed the following dates:

Oct 14: Indigenous Peoples’/Columbus Day

Nov 11: Veterans Day

Nov 28-29: Thanksgiving

Dec 23-Jan 3: Winter Break (back on Jan 6)

Jan 20: MLK Day

April 14-21: Spring Break (back on Apr 22)

May 26: Memorial Day

June 19: Juneteenth

July 4: Independence Day

Aug 18-22: Yearly Maintenance Week (this week will be added if work needs to be done to the facility, to be confirmed in Jan 2025. Tuition will be adjusted accordingly)

 Aug 25-Sept 1: Summer Break (in lieu of February mid winter break)
